Just mention Tabloid Trash. Thanks.
I started carving angels for my mailart exchanges with Antonette in LA-CA.
Been hooked ever since.
Valentine image from Dover clipart.
Good for accenting an address on an envelope.
This, and the angel above, were both carved for
Detailed Rubber Stamps in NYC, years ago.
This carving reminds me of the Owl and the Pussycat.
Virgo is often shown as an angel with a flower in hand.
This piece, done for a zodiac, includes a rough approximation of the constellation Virgo.
The stars were actually added after I carved the angel, to get more use from the image.
This is a pair of angels I carved to "bookend" addresses or quotes.
They are similar but not identical, of course.
The flower petals were done by poking a paperclip wire into the eraser to make holes.
This image is an old woodcut that I adapted for this year's Christmas cards.
I carved it on EZ-Cut from Chaselle on Halloween. I'm *trying* to get ahead of the seasons!
