It's going to be a while before we see tulips in Massachusetts, I'm afraid.
This carving was done in two pieces to get a multicolored print.
The first block, the blossoms, is stamped first,
then a second block (the green) is stamped over it.
This gives a different look to the finished piece than
hand coloring the flowers with Marvy markers.



I love this time of year - lots of holidays to carve for...



These silhouettes were carved one a year for my Eire Mailart.

This one I lettered out in the only calligraphy style I can handle - Uncial -
and carved for last year's St. Patrick's Day mailing to buddies.



These tulips were among my first large carvings.
This was when I was still using pink Big Mistake erasers from a gift shop.
This image is one block, with the green and purple
colored directly onto the eraser with Marvy markers and stamped.
